I <3 Ice Cream

But I feel so spoiled/gluttonous now because its the second time this week I went out for ice cream.

The first was Monday with Dominic, Kristina, Alexis, John and this girl I just met Carolyn who is very funny. It turns out me and John are both very into urban legends. Fun conversations.

Also reminiscing about how we read goosebumps in like the first grade. And the choose your own scare.

Good Times.

Today I went out for ice cream with Brooke, Jackie, Yury, Jared and Matt, we were later joined by McKeon and Brett. Fun times. Funny that Jared just got my number now after we've known eachother like what seven years?

Liz's mom still asks me about him. He was her favorite student back in IS 72.

About Classes:

I had my third day of accounting today. I really don't like it. I find it annoying and the book doesn't explain anything well, really. It's not cool.

But I think I know more than the rest of the class, oddly enough.

My professor is a nice person. But its bloody hysterical how he insists on using the microphone for a small class that doesn't even fill up the first three rows in the room.

I now eat my lunch on the bus stop, standing.

It was so lonely and uncool standing on the bus stop in 90 weather eating a chalupa.

It really was a sad moment. LOL

lol went to the mall with nick yesterday. I got a shirt for $5!!! SCORE! lol We saw Lauren and Rita and Olga.

I wish they could be friends again . . . I know it'll take a while.

Now this is where the adventure starts . . .

We go to see signs at the Atrium and we're in a pretty packed movie theater with asshole people and they are all talking so loud and Nick is like screaming 'shut up' and then the coming attractions come on, ok. Then the sound goes out. Then the lights, screen, everything goes out and people are screaming and we're sitting there like . . . whatever. So then it comes back on, goes off again and then the emergency lights go on and a lot of people leave lol So Nick thinks this is a joke and he's like yo there are good seats now! So we move to good seats and see abandoned candy and soda's and we're like cool. So then we're talking to these 8th graders, "you worried?" "no, you worried?" "no" lol so then a worker dude comes in and is like ok we're giving refunds or whatever and two seconds later another one comes in and is like "we have to evacuate now" So we run out the back door cuz the front was swarmed with kids and we run in puddles up to our ankles to the walbaums parking lot and sit on a bench under shelter lol So this woman in her late 30s to early 40s comes out and sits with us and we're talking about what happened lol. CrAzY! lol And my parents were in friggin Brooklyn, they're like, "you have the key right?" lol "yeah"

One guy was cute we had a very nice view and you know what? lol We called our friend who babysits at that house and it turns out those guys are gay and actually dated eachother LMAO wow we have no luck huh? lol And Lauren's dad almost lost Olga he started driving with her half in the car omg! lol Thank God she didn't get hurt it was sooo funny.

. . .
We just covered misplaced, dangling and two-way modifiers! woo hoo!

Here's a few sentences that amused me:

1. The Simpsons gave toy robot to one of their children with a bullet-shaped glass head and flashing red eyes.

Now if one of their children had a bullet-shaped glass head and flashing red eyes that would be correct and so sick! lol =p

Since society trains us to assume the children don't have glass heads and such, the correct form is:

The Simpsons gave a toy robott with a bullet shaped head and flashing red eyes to one of their children.

Can you say nightmares? lol wow I guess this boredom is getting to me!

Here's another one:
13. Being completely untamed, Anita warned us that the animals were dangerous.

Anita's untamed! lol Exactly how untame is she?

Correct form, since they want us to assume she is tame and the animals are not:
Anita warned us that the animals, being completely untamed, were dangerous.

Wow I'm loosing my mind!
Went to the grind yesterday with Olga and Rita and hung out with Gina, Joe and Matt there.
